The ability to reach E below low E and beyond puts serious demands on most traditional equipment. The full octave down puts the low E at just above 20Hz.

Care and consideration should be had regarding speakers and your expectations of them. The Quake Bass has a very full and vibrant tone and is heard exceptionally well on nearly all contemporary gear, but the lowest frequencies are best appreciated with a separate speaker specifically capable of extremely low frequencies.
